On March 12, London-based Arsenal progressed past Porto in the Champions League Round of 16 thanks to a victory in the penalty shootout, with a score of 4-2.

After the conclusion of the match, the head coach of the Portuguese club, Sergio Conceicao, stated that Arsenal's coach, Mikel Arteta, insulted him with a certain phrase in Spanish.

Following the final whistle, there was a verbal altercation between the two coaches.

During the press conference, Arteta was asked to comment on the incident:

"No comment," said the Spaniard during the press conference.

Subsequently, after the match, cameras captured a heated exchange between them, during which Conceicao refused to shake Arteta's hand.
