On April 8th, Arsenal's head coach Mikel Arteta held a press conference ahead of the first leg match of the Champions League quarterfinals against Bayern Munich.

Arteta chose not to respond to one of the questions:

"Did I seek advice on how to defeat Bayern from my friend Xabi Alonso? A great question, but I won't be answering that," said Arteta.

He also shared his expectations for the match:

"We face a significant challenge against one of the most successful clubs in the Champions League. We eagerly anticipate it. Bayern is a top team, and I am a great admirer of Thomas [Tuchel] and how he shapes his teams. I have learned a lot about him. When you deeply analyze Bayern, you know they are a top team. We need to prepare well and play the game as we want. If we do that, we have a chance of winning.

This is history. If you look at their history in competitions, everything becomes clear. We must prove that we have improved. Over the past few months, we have learned a lot. This is a challenge, and we are delighted to be a part of it.

Kane? It's not just him playing, but also the other ten players that Bayern has. We know the individual qualities of these players, including him. If you look at his stats over the last ten years, they are simply incredible. He can score in various ways. He has players around him who provide opportunities. That's what we should try to avoid."
