The English clubs Arsenal and Tottenham continue to monitor the young talent Arthur Vermeeren from Antwerp.

Reportedly, scouts from both clubs were present at the live match of the Champions League between Antwerp and Barcelona, specifically to observe the 18-year-old midfielder's performance.

It's worth noting that the midfielder seemingly made an impression on representatives from the top clubs: Vermeeren scored one of the goals against Barcelona, contributing to his team's sensational victory.

Vermeeren has been with Antwerp since last season, having played 62 matches for the Belgian side and scored one goal. This season, the young midfielder has been a pivotal player, tallying two goals and five assists in 28 matches across all competitions.

Despite his young age, Vermeeren has already earned two caps for the Belgian national team. Transfermarkt values the player at €25 million.

However, he's not the only player on the radar of top clubs. Vermeeren has caught the attention of Bayern Munich, Juventus, Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona as well.
