Arsenal will return the midfielder to his hometown club

The Portuguese midfielder Fábio Vieira has struggled to make an impact at Arsenal since joining the club in 2022.

According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Vieira is set to return to his hometown club, Porto. The deal is done, and the midfielder will join Porto on loan.

It is noted that the loan agreement does not include a purchase option, with the "Dragons" fully covering the player's salary.

Last season, the 22-year-old midfielder played 17 matches across all competitions and scored 2 goals.

Previously, it was reported that Arsenal was ready to sign a player that Barcelona had shown interest in at the last moment.
