Arsenal transfer target has refused to leave his current club

Since the winter transfer window, the media have been reporting that Arsenal has made Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi one of their transfer targets, whom the Spanish press are calling "the new Busquets". However, the player himself does not really want to change the club.

Zubimendi recently expressed his desire to stay at Real Sociedad and does not intend to move to another club:

"I never planned to leave Real Sociedad, I always say that. I love life here at home, I'm so happy here. The values of this club coincide with mine, so I feel very good, I've always said I'm happy," said the midfielder in conversation with Diario Sport.

Earlier it was reported that Arsenal are ready to pay a €60 million clause for Zubimendi, but by converting it into a long-term instalment.
