Arsenal star is out of the list of names for his national team
After secret talks between the two parties, Otto Addo the coach of the Ghanaian national team revealed That Thomas Partey will not be on the team's roster for the upcoming qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of nations in November, in which the Ghanaian national team will face both the Niger national team and the Angolan national team as well.
Partey represented the Ghanaian national team for the first time in 2016, the 31-year-old midfielder has played 51 international matches for the national team and captained his country on many occasions, and his teammate Jordan Ayew will take over the leadership role from Leicester City.
“For me, the team is like a family, and I don't go out with internal issues-but I made it perfectly clear to him. He wanted to come, he wanted to come, but I made it perfectly clear why he didn't come” Otto Addo said.
