Despite being in the Premier League title race, London’s Arsenal have been without silverware for quite some time—a situation that has fans concerned. But Gunners legend Nigel Winterburn knows exactly who could help turn things around for the club.

Details: The long-serving Arsenal defender, who played from 1987 to 2000, stated that among all the club’s legends, it’s Thierry Henry who should take the helm. For starters, the iconic Frenchman could join Mikel Arteta’s backroom staff, but ultimately, it all depends on whether the former Arsenal striker is up for the challenge.

Quote: “Among Arsenal legends, Thierry Henry is the one who, in an ideal world, should one day lead the club. He’ll always have a connection with Arsenal. The club once took a risk by appointing Arteta from Manchester City, and it paid off.

I would love to see Henry on Arteta’s staff at Arsenal—he could come in and take on an important role. But who knows, maybe he wants to build his own career and manage another big club. You have to be careful with club legends—it’s important they achieve things on their own merit. But the fans would undoubtedly be absolutely thrilled,” Winterburn quoted by FourFourTwo.
