Arsenal have been monitoring him for a long time. The Gunners target Newcastle star Anthony Gordon
London's Arsenal continue their activity on the transfer market. The Gunners are aiming to sign a new central defender as well as a winger for their attacking line.
According to CaughtOffside, the Gunners have set their sights on Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon. The Englishman has been on their radar since his days at Everton, and his impressive development with the Magpies has only intensified their interest.
Arsenal view Gordon as a potential upgrade over Gabriel Martinelli, who has improved his finishing but remains inconsistent in the final third. While Newcastle have no intention of selling their key players, the club could be forced into a deal due to financial regulations. Previous reports have suggested that Gordon's transfer fee could be around £80 million.
