Arsenal face further difficulties in bringing in a forward

One of Arsenal's transfer priorities for the summer was to bring in a young but experienced striker. There were difficulties in signing RB Leipzig forward Benjamin Šeško, after which the Canaries switched to another candidate. But it's not all that simple, either.
Arsenal have been tracking Sporting striker Victor Gyökeres for a long time, but the price asked by the Lisbon club for their player is unaffordable for the London club.
The Lisbon side have a clause in the 26-year-old Swede's contract in the region of £85million, but The Sun believes that the Gunners would like to reduce the deal somewhat and sign Gyökeres for a sum in the region of £50-60million.
But, Sporting do not intend to make a discount for anyone from the buyers and asks to pay for the striker exactly the amount that is prescribed in the contract.
