Arsenal hosted PSV at the Emirates in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16. In the first leg, the Gunners annihilated their opponents away with a score of 7-1.

In the return match, the teams went into halftime with Arsenal holding a narrow 2-1 lead. Thus, the Gunners increased their goal tally against PSV to 9 over the two matches.

Details. Arsenal became only the second English club to score 9+ goals in two UEFA Champions League playoff matches, following Manchester City's feat of scoring 10 goals against Schalke in the 2018–19 Round of 16.
