Atletico Madrid hosts Real in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16. In the first match, the "Blancos" claimed a 2-1 victory.
The home team started the return match without delay: Conor Gallagher opened the scoring just 27 seconds in. With this, the Englishman set several records.
Details. Gallagher's goal is the earliest for Atletico in UEFA Champions League history, surpassing Koke's goal against Monaco (89 seconds) in November 2018.
Moreover, it is the fastest goal ever scored by an Englishman in UEFA Champions League history.
