Arsenal is planning reinforcements for the upcoming season, with one of the positions being a left-back, as reported by The Athletic.

The coaching staff is seeking the ideal solution for the problematic left-back position. However, the club already has six potential players for this role. Candidates for the left flank include: Oleksandr Zinchenko, Jakub Kiwior, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Jurrien Timber. Additionally, two players currently on loan: Kieran Tierney and Nuno Tavares.

Currently, it appears that Arteta has more depth in this position than in any other, yet he is still searching for the right player.

It is worth recalling that Arsenal lost the last Premier League match to Aston Villa with a score of 0-2. "The Gunners" are now in second place after this round, with Manchester City leading the pack, ahead of Arteta's team by just one point.
