Arne Slot Hails Mohamed Salah's Heroics in Dramatic Liverpool Win over Southampton

Liverpool coach Arne Slot praised Mo Salah's outstanding performance in their thrilling 3-2 victory over Southampton. Mo Salah scored twice, including the decisive goal, overturning a 1-2 deficit to keep Liverpool atop the Premier League table with 31 points.

"To win, you need goals and Salah scores them. His first goal was so important, he came out of nowhere and helped us come back," Slot told Sky Sports.

Salah, who scored in his fifth successive Premier League game, showed his reliability during difficult times. Slot added: "We know Salah will perform well when things are tough. His timing and composure were fantastic."

With his brace against Southampton, Salah overtook Robbie Fowler as Liverpool's all-time leading scorer with nine goals. He also became the first Liverpool player to score 100 goals away from Anfield in all competitions, and celebrated his 300th club goal.

Every game Salah plays for Liverpool adds to his legacy.
