Arne Slot confirms Alisson’s readiness for the upcoming match

Liverpool are preparing for their next Premier League fixture, and supporters on Merseyside have reason to be encouraged — goalkeeper Alisson Becker is in line to return this weekend.

Details: According to Arne Slot, the Brazilian shot-stopper should be available for the upcoming round. Alisson has already been back in training, and if the next session goes smoothly, he is expected to start.

On Saturday, November 22, Liverpool host Nottingham Forest in Matchday 12 of the Premier League. The Reds currently sit eighth in the table with 18 points from 11 rounds.

Alisson suffered his injury at the end of September during a Champions League match against Turkish side Galatasaray. Before that setback, the Brazilian goalkeeper had made nine appearances for Liverpool this season, keeping just two clean sheets.

Reminder: Liverpool have yet to find their rhythm this season, and the team’s performances have been far from convincing. Twenty-three-year-old Liverpool and France forward Hugo Ekitike recently spoke about the club’s current issues.
