Liverpool fans received exciting news today as both first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker and forward Diogo Jota resumed training. But the updates didn’t stop there.
Details: Liverpool manager Arne Slot confirmed that Alisson is not only back in training, but also ready to make his return in the team's next match.
Quote:
"Alisson is back, he's fit and ready to play tomorrow against Girona."
The Brazilian goalkeeper has been sidelined since October 5 due to a thigh injury. In his absence, Caoimhin Kelleher stepped in as the starting goalkeeper.
Reminder: Liverpool remains the only team to have won all five of their Champions League group-stage matches this season. Arne Slot’s side also tops the Premier League standings.
