Arne Slot comments on Salah’s departure at the end of the season

Mohamed Salah has decided to leave Liverpool at the end of this season, and the coming weeks will mark his final chapter at the club. Arne Slot has now shared his thoughts.

Details: The head coach hopes that Salah can make his legacy even more special during these final weeks.

Quote: "I hope he can make his legacy even more special in the coming weeks and months, as we are still playing for something significant.

But he will always leave this club as a legend, because, as I have said before, the way this club has performed in recent seasons is largely due to what he has done for it.

Scoring goals, providing assists. As I’ve said, as a fan, I watched him and that front three with Sadio Mané and Bobby Firmino… Everyone still talks about it, and rightly so.

And then, when I started working with him, I don’t know if this was his best season in terms of numbers, but it has been an outstanding one, because he has scored the most goals and provided the most assists.

I don’t know if that has happened to him often, let alone to any other player in the Premier League," Slot said.

Reminder: Liverpool head coach Arne Slot made an important update regarding an injury during his latest press conference.
