At last! Arne Slot confirms long-awaited return to training for star forward
Liverpool head coach Arne Slot delivered a crucial injury update at his latest press conference.
Details: The Liverpool boss officially confirmed that star striker Alexander Isak has fully recovered from his injury and is ready to rejoin first-team training.
"Tomorrow, he'll be training with the group again," Slot stated succinctly, but with clear optimism.
Isak's return comes at a pivotal moment for the Merseysiders. With fixtures coming thick and fast, having a fit centre-forward of his calibre could give Liverpool a massive edge.
While Hugo Ekitike has stepped in admirably for the Swede, Alexander's comeback will inject much-needed variety and firepower into Liverpool's attack—qualities that have been sorely missed in recent rounds.
It's worth noting that this season, the Swedish striker has made sixteen appearances for Liverpool, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
For the record: Atletico Madrid have identified a replacement for Oblak should he decide to leave—the player in question is Liverpool goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili.
