The Olympics have not officially started, but there is already a big scandal that will have to be dealt with by the relevant authorities.

Recall that on 24 July, the football tournament started, and during the match between Argentina and Morocco, fans of the African country threw foreign objects on the field. The game was interrupted for two hours.

Because of the Moroccan fans' behaviour, the Argentine federation filed a complaint with FIFA's Disciplinary Committee:

"A formal complaint has been filed with the FIFA Disciplinary Committee in order to take the necessary regulatory measures for such a serious event. It is essential to guarantee the safety of the players for the peaceful development of this beautiful sport that is football, and we will do everything necessary to make it happen," read a statement from the Argentine federation.

Recall that the match was suspended after Argentina's goal that set the score at 2-2, but the game was interrupted due to foreign objects on the pitch. During the suspension, the referees reviewed Argentina's second goal and cancelled it due to offside.

The teams returned to the pitch with the score 2-1 in favour of Morocco, and it ended with that result.
