Bournemouth striker Antoine Semenyo has set his sights on Manchester City as his top destination for a potential move in the upcoming winter transfer window.
Details: According to journalist David Ornstein, Antoine Semenyo is targeting a switch to Manchester City. The decisive factor for the 25-year-old forward is his ambition to fight for silverware under Pep Guardiola.
At this stage, no official agreements have been reached—the January transfer window is set to open in just a week. Manchester United have also shown serious interest, but a potential January move has been considered unlikely, as the club is only prepared to sign players fully committed to making the switch.
Tottenham were interested in the Ghanaian striker over the summer. Liverpool are also among the clubs that rate the player highly. In the current 2025/26 Premier League season, Semenyo has been in outstanding form: eight goals and three assists in 16 league appearances.
It's worth noting that the striker’s contract with Bournemouth runs until 2030 and includes a £65 million release clause that could be triggered in January.
Reminder: Chelsea have made their first enquiry for Bournemouth’s Ghanaian forward Semenyo.
