In the French Super Cup final, Ligue 1 champions PSG faced off against French Cup winners Marseille in a match that proved to be incredibly tense and spectacular.

Details: The match ended 2-2 in regulation time, and the winner was decided in a penalty shootout, where PSG triumphed thanks to the heroics of Lucas Chevalier, who saved two penalties and emerged as the main star of the night.

Early in the match, Ousmane Dembélé put PSG ahead, capitalizing on a defensive error by Marseille.

However, in the 76th minute, Marseille equalized when Mason Greenwood earned a penalty and coolly converted it, bringing the suspense back to the final.

In the 87th minute, PSG regained the lead after an own goal by Willian Pacho, and it seemed the trophy was already in the Parisians' hands.

But in the 90+5th minute, Gonçalo Ramos struck again to level the score and send the match into a dramatic penalty shootout.

In the penalty shootout, PSG proved more accurate than Marseille.

For the record: Mason Greenwood scored against PSG in the French Super Cup final and registered his 20th goal involvement of the season.
