Another scandal. Vinícius Junior has called on UEFA to punish Atletico fans who racially abused him

Real Madrid star Vinícius Júnior has once again become a victim of racist abuse. This time, the fans of Atlético Madrid were involved.

The incident occurred outside the Wanda Metropolitano stadium before yesterday's match between Atlético and Inter Milan in the Champions League. It is alleged that before the match, Atlético fans chanted that "Vinícius is a chimpanzee" which is the latest in several incidents involving Los Rojiblancos fans racially abusing the Brazilian.

Vinícius has already called on UEFA to take action against the racist abuse directed at him and to punish the perpetrators.

"I hope, UEFA, that you have already considered your punishment. This is a sad reality that happens even in games where I am not present!", wrote the frustrated Vinicius on social media.

Lately, Vinícius has been increasingly facing racial abuse, particularly from Atlético fans. The Brazilian is at the forefront of the fight against skin color discrimination and recently stated that racists should be put in prison.
