The troublemaker has already been detained.
Details: Today, at the presentation of his own book entitled "Kill Rubiales," former president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation Luis Rubiales became the target of a hooligan who hurled three eggs at him from the crowd.
The perpetrator, who dared to pull off such a stunt, has already been apprehended, and police are working to establish his identity. The offender has not commented on his motive.
Earlier, the National Court of Spain opened a criminal case against Rubiales after he kissed footballer Jenni Hermoso during the awards ceremony following the Women's World Cup in 2023, and FIFA suspended him from all football-related activities for three years.
At the end of February 2025, Spain's National Judicial Panel fined him €10,800.
