A highly controversial situation.

Details: According to Sputnik Mundo, 41-year-old former Spanish national team and Barcelona midfielder Andrés Iniesta has received official suspicions of fraud involving more than €600,000.

It is reported that Iniesta is accused of using his two companies, NSN Barcelona and NSN Sudamerica, to promote various events, including sports and music. However, after investors provided funds for these events, the events themselves never took place, and the money was not returned.

Iniesta himself denies any involvement in the scheme, stating that the Peruvian branch "was run by the wrong people, who caused damage to the company and to third parties."

At this moment, the Peruvian prosecutor's office is conducting further investigations ahead of court proceedings.

Andrés Iniesta ended his football career in October 2024, with his last club being the Arab side “Emirates.”
