Reports indicate that 61-year-old Roberto Mancini is just one step away from returning as manager of the Azzurri. According to Schira, Mancini’s contract will run until 2030, with Roberto set to earn €2 million per year.
Currently, Mancini is the head coach of Qatari side Al Sadd, and it remains unclear whether he will combine the two roles or depart the club.
Mancini previously managed the Italian national team from 2018 to 2023, with his greatest achievement being the triumphant Euro 2020 campaign that brought the trophy back to Italy for the first time since 1968.
