Aliou Cissé unveils Angola’s squad to face Egypt and Malawi
The Senegalese manager revealed on Saturday 19 September the names of the Palancas Negras who will contest the first two matchdays of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Angola will kick off their qualifying campaign away from home. Aliou Cissé and his team will travel to Egypt to take on the Pharaohs on matchday one. This fixture is scheduled for 25 September.
The Palancas Negras will then host Malawi on matchday two. The match will take place on 6 October. For these two crucial fixtures in the race to qualify for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, Aliou Cissé has named a squad of 28 players.
The Senegalese manager’s squad comprises 4 goalkeepers, 10 defenders, 8 midfielders and 6 forwards.
