Targeting players over 30, Al Ahly SC plans to implement a new contract renewal policy that draws inspiration from Liverpool's strategy. Sporting Director Mohamed Ramadan is leading this effort to conform to the English club's procedures, according to club sources.

Al Ahly intends to extend contracts for senior players on an annual basis, much like Liverpool does with veterans like Mohamed Salah. Defenders Yasser Ibrahim and Rami Rabia are apparently being evaluated for this strategy, with one-year extensions contingent on performance indicators like playing at least 70% of games.

As the club choose shorter contracts, many players are demanding two-year deals instead. A resolve on this policy is likely to be made in the coming weeks.

Meantime, The Egyptian Club are preparing for their EPL match against Ittihad Alexandria, hoping to continue their winning streak in the competition.
