CAF Reveals Finalists for African Club of the Year Award

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed the shortlist for the 2024 African Club of the Year award, with Egypt's top teams Al Ahly and Zamalek among the five contenders.
CAF's official account on "X" states that the nominees are Al Ahly (Egypt), Zamalek (Egypt), RS Berkane (Morocco), Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa), and Espérance de Tunis (Tunisia).
Al Ahly won the coveted CAF Champions League trophy, while Zamalek secured their place by winning the CAF Confederation Cup and Super Cup the previous season. Due to their outstanding results in recent European competitions, both clubs are the front-runners to win the prize.
The African Club of the Year award from CAF honors outstanding accomplishments in African football. The winner is eagerly awaited by fans throughout the continent, and Al Ahly and Zamalek are well-positioned to win the coveted award.
