The Italian tactician is set to land a lucrative deal in Qatar.
Details: According to renowned and respected insider Nicolò Schira on his X social media page, 60-year-old Italian manager Roberto Mancini has agreed to become the new head coach of Al-Sadd.

The agreement between the parties is reportedly set until June 2026, with Mancini earning 5 million euros per year. However, if the club's management is satisfied with the results, the contract includes an extension option until 2028, with an increased salary of 8 million euros per year.
Currently, Al-Sadd is led by interim head coach, 48-year-old Spaniard Sergio Alegre.
Mancini's last job was as head coach of the Saudi Arabia national team, a post he left in October 2024.
