AC Milan announced the contract extension of promising goalkeeper Lapo Navа. The new agreement for the 19-year-old goalkeeper with the Rossoneri is now extended until the summer of 2027.

Navа is a product of Milan's youth academy but hasn't played a single game for the senior team yet. He served as the primary goalkeeper for Milan's U19 team, which reached the semifinals of the UEFA Youth League 2022/23.

This summer, the Italian goalkeeper was promoted to Milan's first team and awaits his debut at the professional level. The Transfermarkt portal values the goalkeeper at €150,000.

Earlier reports indicated that Milan couldn't reach an agreement on a new contract with their primary goalkeeper Marco Maignan, due to the club's hesitance to meet his financial demands.

The Rossoneri currently hold the third position in the Serie A table after 18 rounds. They recently dominated Cagliari in the Coppa Italia, advancing to the quarterfinals. On January 7th, Stefano Pioli's team will face Empoli away from home."
