“A young, cohesive team”: Baleba on David Pagou’s Vision for the Indomitable Lions

According to the Cameroonian international midfielder, the head coach is seeking to build a young, united team capable of functioning well as a unit.

On the programme Talent d’Afrique, Carlos Baleba explained the Indomitable Lions manager’s vision. According to the Manchester United midfielder, ever since David Pagou took the reins of the Cameroon national team, his approach has been crystal clear.

The Cameroonian coach wants a rejuvenated and united Indomitable Lions squad. Carlos Baleba also explained how the players already in the squad are helping their new teammates settle in.

“Since he arrived, I think he’s been trying to build a young, cohesive team that gets on well together. We, the veterans, if I may put it that way, as I’m still young myself, are learning and helping the others to settle into the squad so that they can demonstrate their qualities should the coach call upon them on the pitch.”

Carlos Baleba was absent from David Pagou’s squad during the last international break due to injury.
