UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev fell victim to theft during his stay in Italy.
Details: According to Topskills Sports UK, the fighter had his suitcase stolen, which contained personal belongings, but one loss hit the champion particularly hard. Makhachev revealed that among the items was a pair of unique sneakers, personally gifted to him by PSG and Georgia national team star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. This present held immense symbolic value for the fighter, and now Islam is doing everything he can to recover the cherished item.
On his social media, the champion reached out to the thieves with an unusual request.
"The most valuable thing I had were those sneakers that Kvara gave me. Thieves, if you don't like football, please return them to me," Makhachev wrote.
