Gerard Piqué took matters into his own hands to help prepare the stadium in Andorra for the upcoming match, stepping onto the pitch himself to clear away the snow.
Details: The pitch at FC Andorra's home ground, Estadi Nacional, was buried under nearly 28 centimeters of snow, putting the scheduled clash with Cultural Leonesa at 16:15 CET in serious jeopardy.
The former Barcelona defender and one of the club's owners didn't just pitch in himself—he also called on fans to join the effort and help clear the field. Piqué is hopeful that, with everyone's combined efforts, the pitch can be made playable and the match can take place as scheduled.
It's worth noting that Gerard Piqué's FC Andorra is currently sitting 14th in the table, just two points clear of the relegation zone. Their opponents, Cultural Leonesa, find themselves in the same situation, but due to a worse goal difference, they sit one spot below Andorra.
Reminder: The Bundesliga match between Werder and Hoffenheim has been officially postponed due to heavy snowfall.
