Details: According to renowned and reputable journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano on his social media page X, the Manchester City management is continuing negotiations with Nottingham Forest regarding 23-year-old central midfielder Elliot Anderson.

However, the City management has chosen an alternative midfield reinforcement option in case talks with Nottingham Forest reach an impasse.
Manchester City has turned its attention to 26-year-old Newcastle midfielder Sandro Tonali. Tonali will become the main candidate for strengthening the squad if they fail to secure Anderson.
For their part, Nottingham Forest are not opposed to selling Elliot, but are demanding at least £100 million for him.
