A blockbuster deal is brewing on the European transfer market between two of modern football’s biggest powerhouses.
Details: According to Ekrem Konur, Manchester City has set its sights on Real Madrid’s midfield leader Federico Valverde and is already preparing an official offer to send to the “royal club” this coming summer.
The 27-year-old Uruguay international has reportedly become the top transfer priority for City’s coaching staff. Manchester City is willing to go all-in financially, prepared to invest around €90 million to secure the versatile Uruguayan’s signature.
It’s worth noting that this season, the Uruguayan midfielder has played 49 matches for the Madrid giants, scoring 9 goals and providing 13 assists. Transfermarkt currently values the player at €120 million.
