Senegal defender Ismail Jakobs believes Morocco attempted to poison their opponents ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations final.

Details: According to Senegal's left-back, Ismail Jakobs, some of his teammates felt unwell before the decisive clash against Morocco:

I can't say exactly what happened, because I don't have all the evidence.

It wasn't just a simple case of food poisoning with vomiting or anything like that. Niang, Diatta, and Matar Sarr were really drowning! It was very frightening! All three were unable to pull their tongues back in.

I don't want to accuse anyone, but this was certainly not an accident.

For the record, in the Africa Cup of Nations final, thanks to Gueye's goal in extra time, Senegal snatched a dramatic victory over Morocco to claim their second ever trophy in the competition's history.
