December 16, 2024, marks an important, albeit unfortunate, anniversary for Manchester City forward Jack Grealish—one he likely won’t be celebrating.

Details: Exactly one year ago, on December 16, 2023, Grealish scored his last goal for Manchester City in a match against Crystal Palace. Since then, he has played 45 consecutive games for the "Citizens" without finding the net.

To his credit, Grealish has scored twice for the England national team during this period. Both goals came in the autumn of 2024 under manager Lee Carsley, in away matches against Ireland and Finland.

Reminder: In November, City manager Pep Guardiola publicly criticized Carsley for calling up Grealish to the national squad.
