Arsenal dominated the North London derby, routing Tottenham 4-1 and solidifying their position at the top of the Premier League table. Before the match, Gunners fans once again made their presence felt with a stunning banner.
Tottenham striker Richarlison netted a sensational goal, lobbing the goalkeeper from distance, but the true hero of the match was someone else. The Gunners claimed victory thanks to a hat-trick from their summer signing Eberechi Eze, with Leandro Trossard also getting on the scoresheet.
Remarkably, this was the first career hat-trick for Eze. Previously, in official Arsenal vs Tottenham matches, only three players had managed to score three goals: Ted Drake (Arsenal, 1934), Terry Dyson (Tottenham, 1961), and Alan Sunderland (Arsenal, 1978).
After 12 rounds, Arsenal sit atop the Premier League standings, holding a six-point lead over second-placed Chelsea.
