The renowned German striker Miroslav Klose could potentially take the helm at Lazio, as reported by Sky Sports journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

It has been revealed that the Italian club is considering two candidates to replace Maurizio Sarri. One option is the former Lazio and Germany forward, Miroslav Klose. Additionally, among the options is the Italian Tommaso Rocchi.

Tommaso Rocchi is an Italian footballer who spent the majority of his career at Lazio (from 2004 to 2013), winning the Italian Cup and Super Cup. He also earned three caps for the Italian national team and participated in the 2008 Olympic tournament.

Miroslav Klose played for Lazio from 2011 to 2016, winning the Italian Cup in 2013. Additionally, as part of the German national team, he won the 2014 FIFA World Cup, was a silver medalist in the 2002 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2008, and earned bronze medals in the FIFA World Cups of 2006 and 2010.

It is worth mentioning that Lazio's head coach, Maurizio Sarri, has resigned. It was revealed that the Italian coach informed the leadership of the "Eagles" of his decision to leave the club on Tuesday morning. Recall that Sarri signed a contract with Lazio on June 7, 2021.

Incidentally, the leadership of the "Eagles" had previously shown interest in the candidacy of Lionel Scaloni, the head coach of the Argentine national team. Besides Scaloni, Lazio is interested in the Croatian specialist Igor Tudor, Genoa coach Alberto Gilardino, Monza coach Raffaele Palladino, and Porto's Sergio Conceição.
