A conflict is brewing. Girona rejected transfer offers for the winger without his knowledge
A conflict is brewing at Girona with Ukrainian winger Viktor Tsyhankov, as the Spanish club has rejected transfer offers for him without his knowledge, reports AS.
The Catalan team has already lost four players this summer: Aleix Garcia, Yan Couto, Savinho, and Artem Dovbyk. Now, they are reluctant to let Tsyhankov go. While the winger is happy at Girona, he is also open to considering offers from other clubs, some of which are willing to meet his release clause.
Tsyhankov has always remained calm and loyal to the club, but recently, he has felt both anger and surprise upon learning that Girona rejected transfer proposals for him without even informing him.
Since August 1st, Tsyhankov has been represented by a new agent. They are scheduled to meet in Girona soon to discuss his current situation and future with the team.
As remind, Aleix Garcia has already moved to Bayer Leverkusen, and Artem Dovbyk has chosen AS Roma. Many Girona players returned to their parent clubs after their loan spells.
