Ruben Amorim has identified another ambitious transfer target as Milan prepare for a major midfield investment.

Details: According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Rossoneri are seriously interested in Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott. The 23-year-old England international has caught the attention of Milan's management, while head coach Ruben Amorim is a big admirer of the player and believes he could strengthen the team's midfield.

The Italian giants view Scott as a potential long-term successor to Luka Modric. Milan had even planned to send scouts to watch the midfielder during England's international matches, but the trip was postponed after Scott suffered a thigh injury following his first international start against Croatia.

However, Milan face serious competition. Premier League heavyweights Chelsea and Arsenal are also monitoring the Englishman, whose market value continues to rise. Bournemouth are reportedly unwilling to consider offers below €50 million, and growing interest from other clubs could push the asking price even higher.

Scott joined Bournemouth from Bristol City in August 2023 and has developed into one of the club's most highly rated midfielders. He is capable of playing both in a deeper midfield role and further forward. Notably, the Englishman won the European Under-19 Championship in 2022 and the Under-21 European Championship in 2025 with England.
