Old Trafford continues its search for reinforcements on the left side of defense.

Details: According to The Sun Football and insider Ekrem Konur, Manchester United are closely monitoring Club Brugge's 20-year-old left-back Joaquin Seys. The young defender is also attracting interest from Arsenal and Aston Villa— all three Premier League sides have already made enquiries after extensive scouting of the player.

Club Brugge, however, are under no pressure and are in no rush to sell one of their brightest prospects. The Belgian side is expected to demand around €35 million for the defender.

That means Manchester United will have to withstand fierce competition from two Premier League rivals if the Red Devils decide to move from initial interest to formal negotiations.

It's worth noting that last season, Seys made 39 appearances in the Belgian league, scoring twice and providing five assists. In the new campaign, the defender has already featured in two matches for Club Brugge across all competitions. Transfermarkt values the 21-year-old Belgian at €20 million.

Reminder: Carrick furious! Manchester United blocked from top transfer.
