Manchester United have received a crystal-clear response regarding one of their top transfer targets.

Details: According to Sky Sports, Newcastle have informed Manchester United that Lewis Hall is not for sale this summer. The Red Devils had already made an approach for the 21-year-old defender, but their initial inquiry was swiftly rejected.

Newcastle remain firm in their stance: Manchester United's interest has been dismissed, and the club's management considers the matter closed. Hall has long been on United's radar—Sky Sports reported he was on their transfer shortlist as far back as March.

Meanwhile, Manchester United continue their search for reinforcements at left-back. Following Tyrell Malacia's departure, Luke Shaw remains the only experienced option in the first team for that position.

It’s worth noting that Lewis Hall’s contract with Newcastle runs for another three years.

Reminder: £60 million for a defender! Manchester United ready to splash the cash.
