Although they are managed in Cyprus, they are operated and licensed in Curaçao, a Dutch island in the Caribbean. 22Bet is run by "TechSolutions Group N.V.", whose licence number is 8048/JAZ2017-067.

They also have a Kahnawake (native Canadian) licence, number 00867, which was issued on the 19th of May 2021.

Minimum and maximum rates

To make a 22Bet prediction, you need to pay in U.S. dollars or Euros. You cannot use British pounds with 22Bet.

The maximum amount of money you can stake on a single bet is $/€400,000. This is a lot of money, so we would advise caution before putting an amount this large on a single bet. Ask yourself, "Can I afford to lose this much?".

If you're more frugal, you don't have to spend anywhere near that amount. In fact, you can bet with as little as $/€0.2, making 22Bet a good choice for people who don't wish to gamble with large amounts.

Rating

To find out what people think of 22Bet, we first looked at reviews on forums and betting sites. And it wasn't good.

37% of users rated the bookmaker as "bad". Customers have complained that this is a scam site.

However, reviews on other websites were more optimistic, saying that it was a legit bookmaker.

Marginality

For e-sports, we looked at "Monte vs Into the Breach", "Exactly vs BIT Esports", and "KRC Genk vs EC Brugge". We found a much higher marginality of around 11%.

And horse racing had the highest margin out of any sport we've seen on any betting site. We looked at races in Newcastle, Thistle Down and Woodbine. And the end result was an average of 25%!

Therefore, if you like to bet on the horses, we would not recommend using 22Bet.

Average margin

As we always say, figuring out the average margin for the whole of 22Bet would be near impossible. We would need to figure out the margin for every game and divide the sum by however many games there are. Could you imagine how long that would take?

But, we can make an estimate based on the information in the previous section. If we take an average of the averages in the "Marginality" section, we get 11%.

Popular sports tend to have a lower margin than less popular sports. The more possible outcomes, the higher the margin- horse racing has a higher margin than tennis.

Financial operations

As previously mentioned, whilst you can pay in multiple currencies, you cannot pay in British pounds. We would recommend using either American dollars or euros.

Overall, we have nothing particularly positive or negative to say about 22bet. It just is.

If you're looking for an online bookmaker that's easy to use and has what you'd expect, it will do the job. But, if you're after anything more, we're afraid this might not be the site for you.

We wish we could give you a long and extensive paragraph about how brilliant or terrible 22bet is. But we can't.
