Italy, Turin, Allianz Stadium

The third-round Serie A match between Juventus and AC Milan will take place on 6 September at the Juventus Stadium. Both teams have collected six points from their opening two matches and head into their first serious test of the season with perfect records.

Juventus: two victories and no goals conceded

Luciano Spalletti's side began the league campaign with a narrow 1-0 victory over Frosinone before beating Parma 2-0. Nico González and Teun Koopmeiners were on target in the latest match, with both scoring their first Serie A goals since the spring of 2025.

Juventus have now won their opening two league matches without conceding for a third consecutive season. However, the Turin side head into this fixture without Kenan Yıldız and Khéphren Thuram, significantly limiting their attacking options.

AC Milan: confident start under Ruben Amorim

Milan have also opened the season with two victories, first beating Torino 2-1 and then Venezia 2-0. Gonçalo Ramos has already opened his Serie A account and quickly become an important figure in the team's new attacking system.

Recent meetings with Juventus, however, point towards an extremely cagey contest. Milan have failed to score against the Turin side in six consecutive league meetings, although they have lost only one of their last six trips to Turin.

Match facts and head-to-head record

  • Juventus have won both of their opening Serie A matches and are yet to concede.
  • Milan have also collected six points from their opening two matches.
  • Four of the last five league meetings between the teams have ended 0-0.

One moment could decide the outcome: Juventus vs AC Milan prediction

Both teams are well organised and are unlikely to open the game up from the first minute. Given the nature of their recent meetings and Juventus' defensive solidity, this could once again be a low-scoring contest.

Home advantage and Spalletti's more established structure give the hosts a slight edge. If Juventus find the breakthrough first, Milan could struggle to break down their defence.
