Chelsea - Brighton: Will Chelsea continue their winning streak?
In the second round of the English Premier League, Chelsea will face Brighton on Sunday, August 30. The match will kick off at 15:00 CET, and I have a betting tip for this game.
Chelsea - Brighton: Match Preview
Chelsea finished 10th in the Premier League last season and missed out on European football. The London side also changed their head coach, with Xabi Alonso taking charge. The team started the new Premier League season with a 3-2 win over Fulham, and a few days ago the Blues beat Luton 2-0 in the second round of the EFL Cup. Before the season, Chelsea played six friendly matches and won three of them. By the way, after their opening league game, Chelsea decided to strengthen their goalkeeping position by signing Emiliano Martinez, who will now try to help Xabi Alonso's side.
Brighton lost striker Danny Welbeck, who joined Chelsea this summer. Last season, the Seagulls produced a very good result, finishing eighth in the table with 53 points from 38 matches. Brighton also earned a chance to qualify for the Conference League, beating Tromso in the playoff final and securing their place in the league phase. They have also made an excellent start to the new season, thrashing Aston Villa 4-0 in their opening match.
