Tennis stars Alexander Zverev, Nick Kyrgios, and Aryna Sabalenka will take on music icons and Hollywood celebrities in a special charity event, Desert Smash, reports Bild.
Among the invited pop stars, Pink and Katy Perry have already been confirmed to participate. The celebrities will pair up with professional players to compete in tennis and pickleball matches.
Katy Perry is known for her love of tennis, having attended major tournaments multiple times. In 2023, she was spotted at Wimbledon alongside her husband, Orlando Bloom.
The event will take place at the luxurious La Quinta Resort & Club in California from March 3-4. All proceeds will go to the WTA Foundation’s Global Women’s Health Fund in support of UNICEF.
Last year’s Desert Smash featured top names such as Novak Djokovic, Frances Tiafoe, Victoria Azarenka, and Hollywood actress Charlize Theron.
