Scotland national team central defender Ryan Porteous is at risk of missing the rest of Euro 2024.

UEFA has officially suspended the Watford player for his very rough foul in the first round match against Germany, for which he received a red card.

In the closing stages of the first half, Porteous made a two-footed tackle on Ilkay Gündoğan. As a result, a penalty was awarded against Scotland, which Kai Havertz converted, making the score 3-0.

If the Scotland team does not advance to the knockout stage, Porteous will not play again in the tournament.

The match against Germany ended in a 1-5 defeat for Scotland. Tomorrow, Steve Clarke's team will face Switzerland.
