Zamalek coach Ahmed Abdel-Raouf has described his team’s clash against Kaizer Chiefs as one between strong clubs
Ahmed Abdel-Raouf has dismissed Zamalek’s match against Kaizer Chiefs as a clash between two strong teams.
The Zamalek coach’s description of this afternoon’s Caf Confederation Cup match suggests the Egyptian side are in South African at full strength.
Having won 3-2 against Zesco United last weekend in the Group’s first match, The White Knights have an upper hand above Chiefs who lost their match Al Masry at Suez Stadium last Sunday.
“We represent Zamalek, a great club. We play every match with the aim of winning and collecting three points,” Raouf said as per Pan-Africa Football
“We know the value of Kaizer Chiefs as a team. Our goal is the three points, especially since our next two matches will in Egypt against Al Masry.
“Kaizer Chiefs are a disciplined team with a clearing playing style. Their fans make a difference at home. Tomorrow’s (Saturday) will be a big contest between two strong teams.”
The match starts at 3pm at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
