Zamalek Appoints Swiss Tactician Christian Gross as New Head Coach

Christian Gross, a Swiss coach, has been named the new head coach of Zamalek SC. José Gomes, a Portuguese manager who just left to pursue a managerial position at Al-Fateh in Saudi Arabia, will be replaced by Gross, who was the team's manager from 2018 to 2019.

In the interim, Ahmed Magdy will lead the team for their CAF Confederation Cup match against Al Masry. Magdy is expected to join Gomes at Al-Fateh before Gross officially takes charge.
