Youri Tielemans scored the fastest Belgium goal in the history of major international tournaments

The national teams of Belgium and Romania are closing out the match day at Euro 2024. The teams are meeting in the second round of Group E.
The "Red Devils" took the lead just 73 seconds into the game after a stunning strike by Youri Tielemans, assisted by Romelu Lukaku.
Interestingly, Tielemans' goal is the fastest ever scored Belgium national team in the history of major international tournaments (Euro or World Cup).
Despite being the clear favorites in the group, Belgium managed to lose their first match to Slovakia (0-1). Romania, on the other hand, started the tournament by thrashing Ukraine (3-0).
It's worth noting that Romania and Belgium had not faced each other in almost 12 years before tonight. Their last encounter was in November 2012, when Romania defeated Belgium in a friendly match with a score of 2-1.
